It’s Not Too Early to Plan Your Fall Wardrobe
This fall represents a big comeback in terms of getting dressed in real pants and shirts again. As much as we love our sweatpants, we are excited to put on some properly fitting chinos with a crisp button up shirt.
Some items that we will either refresh or re-purchase are products that have been both staff and customer favorites. Check these out below:
The Denim Everyday Shirt: Easily one of the coolest shirt styles for men is the denim button up. Finally shorter men get their own version. Ours come in light, medium and (now) dark washes, in order to cover all occasions and allow you to contrast them properly with whatever pants you're wearing. Remember, the key is to contrast denim shirt and jean washes, not to match them.
Standard Fit PMNYC Jeans in Dark Indigo Wash: You can always use a new pair of dark denim jeans. These are a top-seller for a reason: They start at 25 inch inseams and are made in a sturdy cotton denim, washed lightly for a sharp dark look. Super versatile, these work as well with T-shirts and sneaks, as they do with a button-up and blazer.
Blue and White Everyday Shirts: These are on heavy rotation all year-round because they go well with a wide range of pants, and even shorts. Made from a comfy 100% cotton poplin from Portugal fabric maker, Somelos, these shirts feel as good as they fit. Never too long in the body or sleeves, and with properly scaled collar and cuffs.
Everywhere Pants: If you haven’t tried these, you are missing out. Don’t let the performance fabric scare you off. These pants do not look like technical wear, but their versatility lives up to the name. Pro tip: Work a fun belt into the mix, even with the drawstrings.
Topcoat: If you live in cooler climates, outerwear is an easy way to add some style to your outfit; but it's often too big, bulky and baggy (and a pain to tailor). Our very proper-fitting topcoat will sharpen any look, with classic detailing, a slightly tapered silhouette and a luxurious wool cashmere blend fabric. Pro tip: This isn't just for suits; we like pairing ours with T-shirts and jeans. Size down if you want to wear it more casually.
Pullover Hoodie: Our Pullover Hoodie is the clothing equivalent of ducking under a warm comforter. Use it as outerwear on crisp, early fall days; or as a second layer on a cold winter day. In either case, you'll look and feel proper.
Denim Jacket: No doubt a go-to item in our fall wardrobe. Pair this with jeans or chinos, and T's and Chucks. Too easy. Classic styling, and it fits like no other!
