We want to take a moment to celebrate one of our all-time favorite actors, Mark Ruffalo, who was nominated for an Oscar for his stirring performance in the film Spotlight.
As an aside, did we mention that Mark is a pretty stylish short man?
This is Mr. Ruffalo’s third nomination. His first was in 2011 for The Kids are All Right and second for his role in last year's Foxcatcher. In 2014 he won an Emmy Award for his stunning and brave performance in The Normal Heart.
He burst on the scene 20 years ago with his brilliant, hilarious, and heartbreaking performance in Kenneth Lonergan’s This Is Our Youth. Those lucky enough to see it won’t ever forget it.
(He would look darn good in a Tribeca field jacket...)
Mark was also nominated for a Tony Award for his last performance on Broadway, Clifford Odet’s Awake and Sing!
We wish this 5’8” guy the best of luck tomorrow and look forward to watching his great work for years to come!
