In good company: Julian Edelman

Our In Good Company series shines the light on men we admire doing great things in life. Don't beat us up if you hate the Pats! Believe us, this has been an acquired taste; but we try to be impartial in our selections for these pieces. Although he's listed at 5'10" (and likely shorter), Patriots slot receiver and punt returner Julian Edelman, Super Bowl LIII MVP, plays among giants in the NFL.

Edelman started to make his mark as part of the New England Patriots' dynasty when he was asked to fill the shoes of another not-so-tall receiver, Wes Welker in 2007. Edelman became a rookie standout and has the post-season numbers that have pundits already talking about Canton.

What we admire most about Edelman, a former college quarterback, is his fearless style of play that he seems to elevate in clutch situations. He's now second all-time behind Jerry Rice in postseason receiving yards.

Edelman also happens to be quite stylish off the field (as seen below) and was profiled in MrPorter.com's blog The Journal.
